As Tabby pulled Ussu down the hall way, his long ears detected music. She had needed his company so suddenly he didn't hadn't had time to ask why. Reclaiming his sleeve, he stopped, pulling decorative headphones away from his ears. The sounds were trancing. Clearing her throat and gaining his attention, Tabby impatiently took off again. "Hurry up, bunny boy." Once a comfortable distance had accumulated, he followed disdainfully.
Once they had reached their destination, Tabby stood, looking at the door, as if expecting it to open.
"So..." Ussu started, "Why are we--" a rabbit about Ussu's size and color opened the door.
"Here for the party?" he scratched his cheek indifferently.
Ussu tried feeling enraged, but when Tabby flicked her tail nervously, he couldn't bring himself to find the emotion.
"My buddy here needs some fun," Tabby asked, shifting her weight, with a slight plead.
The other male glanced at Ussu, but returned his eyes to the red haired kitty. "I guess, miss, as long as you start no trouble."
Her canines gleamed in the summer sunlight, and she stepped inside. Fixing his posture, Ussu followed, fixing a glare on the bouncer.
A hall to the right led off into a kitchen, where two cats were preparing food. The mellow demeanor was surprising to Ussu. When Tabby dragged him to these sorts of events, it was almost certain he'd leave with a headache. There was only a low murmur, however, as if they were in fancy restaurant.
They stepped into the room to the left, to find a large room, with maroon walls and black carpet. Dark brown lights hung down from the ceiling, dimly lighting the area. Black drapes hung by dining tables allowing no light to intrude. A bar hugged the wall beside them. Three classy members sat nearby, two smoking, one sitting out. Two other characters were sitting in the middle, conversing with the bartender.
Opposing the bar was a black stage. Amps, cords, mics and equipment littered all around it. Two black speakers were hung upon the wall beside it. A lollita rabbit girl and a...black furred cat? Ussu had never seen one of those before. A white cat and rabbit were testing their disks. He also heard someone plucking at guitar strings, but they were out of sight.
"Ooh, ooh, ooh! Dani! I want to take a picture!" Ussu turned to see a male rabbit hiding a very expensive looking camera from a very hyper rabbit. A cat with a green scarf stood by, a smile playing at his lips. Ussu averted his eyes before he got their attention.
A loud laugh came from behind them and he turned to see the bouncer surrounded by three cats. One was a brutish male that seemed to be guarding a very tall, slim female cat. The laugh, though, had come from the other, Ussu noted, as she was still laughing. She looked very distinct. As she drunkenly fell on the large male cat, Ussu saw yet another cat who had been standing behind the intoxicated woman. He could tell right off they were related. She seemed very nervous, and drawn back from the others.
"Come ON, Ussu, don't just stand there, let's go sit~" Tabby purred, once again taking his hoodie sleeve. After sitting him down, she pranced off to get some water. The place was starting to fill up, and two animals started arguing loudly, from somewhere in the club.
A cat then walked in, long golden fur and odd blue eyes scanning the room, with a sense of nonchalance. Wearing khaki pants, and a loose shirt, he attracted nearly all the women with a flick of his tail. Tabby, as well, was one of these swooners. Trying to contain his irritation towards the pretty boy, he gazed at the band. They had gotten their banners up while he wasn't looking.
Ashbur featuring Kass. Ussu thought the name had a ring to it. Two rows of metal folding chairs had been placed in front of the stage, the black cat sitting on one side, the timd girl on the other. In the back row were the body guard and the slim girl.
A gang of three rabbits walked in, all slouchy like, eyes shifting. Ussu thought they looked rather suspicious, but they could just be nervous. He decided to wait until Tabby returned. However when she did, she brought the pretty kitty with her. His grin made Ussu want to punch him. He could imagine those sparkly whites all busted up and bloodied. See how he'd flirt then.
Taking his mind off of the competition, he looked back out into the crowd, resting his head in his paw. The second rabbit in line ran to a brown cat with a nervous smile, and Ussu decided they couldn't be that bad.
As people rushed to meet others, talking about either two people. The stud at his table, and someone he'd never heard of. When he looked back at the other two, Tabby was watching him, expectantly.
"What did I just say?" she asked raising a brown eyebrow.
Shrugging, Ussu looked at the band. "Ussu, Nex was trying to talk to you, now pay attention!"
He gave her a moment to cool down, and looked at her. "What?"
The golden cats smile continued plastered on his face, "Hey, I'm Nex. Nice to meet you." Ussu detected the way he spoke in false tones.
"Hi," Ussu returned to his sport of ignorance.
"You've got a very, and may I say, very fine friend with you tonight, Ussu," he said, forcing his voice lower than normal.
"Don't use my name," Ussu snapped, turning back to Mr.Oh-so-sexy. "And if you're going to compliment her, do it straight forward."
Arching an eyebrow, Nex turned to Tabby, "He's your friend, he knows you best. You're very lovely tonight, Tabby. Care to join me upstairs?"
Ussu clenched his teeth, watching them. Tabby giggled, and stood, "why sure, sire."
Once they left Ussu turned in his chair and flopped out on the table. He knew Tabby, so he shouldn't be this disgusted with what she's doing: she does it for a living. Sitting up, and running a paw over his face, he knew why. This time, he knew what the person was like.
A beeping sound started. He looked to the stage, but the sound was close by. Getting up and looking at where Nex had sat, he noticed something taped to the chair. Ussu needed no explanation. He turned and pushed through the people, and reached the bouncer.
"Where are the stairs?" he asked, narrowing his eyes towards the kitchen.
The large gray rabbit, furrowing his eye fur. "There are no stairs."
Ussu's eyes widened, "Where's the gold cat everyone's so hyped up about?"
The bouncer opened the door, "he just left with that lady friend of yours."
As he pulled the door shut, Ussu stopped him, "I'd keep it open if I were you. There's a bomb in here."
"Tryin' to be funny kid?"
"Look, I'd show you, but I don't know how much time is left," with that, Ussu turned back into the crowd, half hearing his reply.
Climbing up onto the stage, a group began cheering for him. He took the microphone from the singing lollita girl, and the band stopped playing.
"Listen, everyone, get out of here. There's a bomb." And with that, animals began freaking out, and he made his way off the stage, and out the door. He was going to find Tabby. Outside, he started running, his hopes set on finding her, his eyes set on tracking. As he'd learned through his life however, city tracking isn't always easy. After minutes of running, he saw police cars flash by.
